Help Rick get back on his feet after his stroke

Hi my name is Shanon Stuckhardt. I'm trying to raise money for Rick Vandyke to help pay for his medical treatment, medications, therapy & to help him pay his bills so he doesnt lose his house.

Before having a stroke Rick was very healthy & active. He's been a journyman carpenter since 2018. He worked for Tobee for 3 years building the bridges and round about off Portage road. In 2022 his hard work payed off. He bought his first house on Amberly in Portage. Bridgework is seasonal so this winter he was taking shorter local jobs waiting for April to roll around when he was scheduled to start a 2 year bridge job in Battle Creek. Because the turn around time on his jobs this winter was so short he wasn't with his last company long enough to qualify for short term disability. He hasn't had any money coming in since Feb 3rd. Now not only is he struggling to pay for the treatment he needs, hes out a vehicle & he stands to lose his house.

On Feb. 2nd Rick was driving home from work when he had a right side stoke with a brain bleed while driving down m43. He was involved in a small accident where he drove off the road and crashed. His car was totalled but no one was hurt. He was airlifted to Bronson hospital where he stayed in NICU for one week before going to Maryfreebed in Grand Rapids. He was there doing intensive rehab daily with speech, physical and occupational therapists for an additional 10 days. Now he's home and needs 24hr supervision to assure his safety and rides to and from his appointments and therapy 3 and 4xs a week. I've had to take a lot of time off work in addition to the 3 weeks spent in and out of the hospital It's been really hard financially. Now the medical coverage he had banked up thru the union has runout so he is struggling to pay for his much needed rehab, his meds, his bills, his mortgage, even dog food for Harper and Marley.

I'm trying to raise as much money as I can to help Rick get through this without losing everything he's worked so hard for in life b4 he had this stroke. It would mean so much and I'd appreciate anything u could contribute to help him.
