Rescue Eram was shot dead by San Marcos
police April 10th on the side of highway 35.
Police claim he was walking along the wall &
into traffic and as they attempted to detain
him, they claim he ran towards them out of the highway with his hands above his head waving what they say was a knife-like object.
Witnesses say his hands were over his head
waving as if he was surrendering&  they saw
nothing in his hands.
Even with PLENTY of officers on the
scene to handle the situation (with their
extensive training & alternative ways to halt
and detain a person) 2 policemen decided to
resort straight to kill shots! They didn’t
even know for sure it was a weapon & he
wasn’t even close enough to hurt them with it.

So many ways this story could’ve ended
differently. They could’ve tased him or shot
him in the legs or literally anywhere & it
would’ve stopped him without killing him.

Rescue was distraught, he needed help living, NOT help dying. He had just lost his mother & wasn’t allowed to go to her funeral or be with his family in Guam because of a trumped up
traffic ticket that he was on probation for &
had been held in prison for months
unnecessarily due to Covid closing the courts. Prison crushed his beautiful soul. He lost his
job in the medical field, his college scholarship&his home.

He wanted to be a nurse. He was the most
loving person, a gentle giant,& anyone who
knew him, knew they had a true friend who
would go through fire for his people if needed.

Well, HE needs US now. We need to get
Rescue home, back to Guam so that his family can lay him to rest. They have traveled to
Texas to bring him home but they are being
met with resistance at every turn. They
wouldn’t let them go in to see his body in the morgue, wouldn’t release his autopsy report
or even give answers to basic questions
regarding Rescue.

Round trip airfare from Guam costs
thousands, and the longer they have to stay in Texas waiting on his body to be released, the more expenses pile up. They’ve lost enough.  We d
on’t want them to have to worry about
how
they’ll afford to bury their son.

If you feel led to help, every donation matters so much to us. If you can’t give right now,
please pray that others will, and help spread
the word about Rescue.

Most of all, please pray for
 #justice4Rescue
