Sylvia Massy is a record producer best known for producing albums from artists such as Tool, Aerosmith, System of a Down, Prince, Paula Abdul, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, R.E.M., and countless others.
A group of students at IPR College of Creative Arts are raising money to bring Sylvia to Minneapolis, Minnesota so she may speak to local musicians, audio producers, and audio engineers. Sylvia has waived her appearance fee and IPR has agreed to provide a venue free of charge, so we only need to raise money for travel and lodging.
Having Sylvia speak would be an excellent opportunity for the Minneapolis audio/music community, particularly those of us who are just entering the profession, to gain real-world knowledge from an industry professional! We would appreciate and help that we can get in making this happen!
