Hi everyone. As some of you know, my dad was severely injured at work on Tuesday, Dec 5th. He fell from a ceiling board onto hard concrete. He was rushed to Newport Hospital and then transferred to Sacred Heart. He will be in the hospital for a few days as long as everything goes well. Then possibly a rehab facility.
He broke 8 ribs on his left side, broke his left shoulder blade and bruised/partially collapsed his left lung. Currently the biggest worry is keeping him from developing pneumonia and keeping his pain under control.
I'm asking for financial help to cover the time he and his wife will be out of work. If everything goes well he could be back to light work in about 8 weeks.
He's not very coherent yet but he appreciates all the love that's been sent his way. Carrie and I also appreciate all the people who have reached out to help in various ways
