Hello my name is Stephanie and I'm trying to raise funds to help a very good friend of mine regain mobility and freedom during an incredibly difficult time in our lives. I ask that you please bear with me because there's a lot of details as I am compressing 3 years into this brief summary.

I met Radha in 2019 and we became fast friends. Through our near daily conversations I found out that their marriage was unhealthy and abusive and so I encouraged them to leave him. Unbeknownst to us Radha’s now ex-husband had been spying on our conversation. As a result he quickly became infuriated at both myself and my wife who had also been in contact with Radha.

His anger lead him to decide to hire a hitman to kill my wife and I in late 2019. By January of 2020 this all came to a head as the aforementioned hitman began to harass Radha and their kids while their ex-husband had run away. As if the situation could not be worse, the pandemic in early 2020 caused Radha to go without necessary medication which caused their pre-existing health condition to deteriorate. As a result Radha’s mobility aid needs severely changed. Namely they now require a wheelchair to get around.

The only wheelchair Radha could afford requires a second person to push and because of that Radha was forced to allow their ex-husband back into their life. However, hiring a hitman happens to be a crime and as such their ex-husband is now going to prison. Leaving Radha without the person that had been helping them be able to move about the world.

Radha and I remain very good friends despite the hardships we’ve gone through over the past 3 years and I wish to help them now more than ever. Please help me raise the funds necessary to get Radha a proper wheelchair that will actually meet their needs and allow them freedom to care for themselves and their kids without unnecessary pain.
