Get poor families the necessary healthcare they need

Hey, my name is Indy and I’m attempting to run 496 kilometres over the course of March in order to raise vital money for Medecins Sans Frontieres Australia. For each day in March, I will attempt to run the corresponding amount in kilometres. For example, on the 3rd of March I will run 3 kilometres, on the 7th of March, 7 kilometres and I will conclude with a 31 kilometre run on the 31st.

Medecins Sans Frontieres Australia is an independent international medical humanitarian organisation that works in over 70 countries to deliver emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters.

Currently, some of the worst affected areas worldwide are in Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan, Ukraine, Syria, northern Nigeria, Afghanistan and the DRC, just to name a few. Unfortunately the suspension of USAID by the Trump administration will cause irrevocable harm in many of these areas and will result in dramatic increases in cases of malnutrition, famine, and diseases such as HIV and malaria and as a result will cause a lot more death worldwide where people depend on the work done by these kinds of organisations.
