Hello, my name is Daissy. I am trying to support my sister, Rubby, in getting funds to get her baby cockatiel, Pepper, the veterinary attention that she needs.

Pepper was brought into our lives on Rubby’s birthday during the first year of the COVID pandemic; May 2020. Pepper since then brought so much love, joy and laughter into our lives.

Unfortunately, Pepper had fallen ill in November 2022. Rubby and her partner, Nick, have been to vet visit after vet visit.

with every visit, the veterinarians caring for Pepper believed it to be a crop yeast infection. However, since becoming ill, and attempting to resolve the infection with medicine, Pepper has yet to become better. Rubby and Nick are continuing to take Pepper to the vets office, doing 2-3 week check-ups, as well as paying for the continuation of the medications.

Peppers vet has several things in mind to try to get to the bottom of whatever is causing her to be ill. Full blood panel, X-rays, crop biopsy, virus blood testing, overnight hospital stay.

Medication alone is $150 every two weeks.

The funds collected would go directly to Peppers veterinarian bills (tests, exams, medications, and possible hospital stays).
