The staff at The Pawleyne Arms Penge, want to raise funds for a defibrillator that would be attached to the outside of the pub.

Saturday 28th June 2025 was an emotional day for everyone in this establishment. We were having a great afternoon when tragedy struck... during a pre planned event a customer had a Sudden Cardiac Arrest, this ended with him unfortunately losing his life. Whilst on the phone to the emergency operator I was sent to a location to retrieve a defibrillator, however on arrival it was missing. To say I was deflated was a huge understatement and although we had one arrive a few minutes later it's always the IF'S, after the incident we decided that we needed to do something so this doesn't happen again. The premises where we would like to have this equipment fitted is covered by 24 hour cctvand is in a central location for Penge. The community needs this piece of equipment and we will do sll we can to have it in place as soon as possible. The amount set it higher that what is needed for this equipment however and monies left over will be donated to the mans family.
