Get Patrick and his mom to safety.

This is Patrick. He and his mom live in Ukraine. They are 52 miles from the front lines with the Russians getting closer every day. They are getting bombed daily. We are frantically trying to get them moved to a house away from the fighting and to where they will be safe. Moving is incredibly expensive for any of any of us but moving in a war zone requires more than his mom has right now. They have stayed to help others and now need our help. They are running out of time.

My name is Jen, I live in America. Natasha is my friend and Patrick's mom. Natasha is a math teacher and author of a children's book that uses Patrick to teach math to young ones. Patrick is 9 years old and has been with Natasha all his life. Before the war Patrick was a teacher of kindness and math to school children and adults alike. He was featured on the news and was a little local celebrity. He is now a scared little boy that holds onto his mom's hand while sirens and bombs surround him.

Yesterday a bomb landed 1.2 miles from their house. Without this money she can not move herself and Patrick to safety. Everyday I wake up to check she and Patrick are ok.

Natasha has prayed everyday for the war to end. Maybe one day her prayers will be answered but that is not today. The time has come to move them away from the front lines so they can live and allow Natasha to keep sharing the amazing little light that is Patrick when it is most needed.
