Original dates august now changed to november.

we are getting closer every week. with your help to reach the final total we will have our van collected by Chelsea November 12th.

lets push for this to complete so we can get the last works done and prepare for the journey ahead.

A dream coming true little by little. thank you in advance for any and all help. road trip begins Thursday 18th September 2025 to arrive at the sanctuary in spain fri/sat 20th november. we will be vlogging the journey.

A friend of FFH rescue has kindly DONATED his previous Berlingo van, THIS IS HUGE!

Not only will it give the animals safe journeys and give more opportunity to help more animals in need, having this van at the rescue in Spain will open up the amazing opportunity to socialise the dogs in care with each other on a nice long mountain walk,

We are a small rescue that magical life changing donations don't happen often if ever. this is truly mind blowing to have the offer for us and we are praying that we can make this happen with the support of the people out there who can spare something to help us reach out target.

We have put this fundraiser together to not only get it to Spain and cover the costs of travel, insuring, new tyres, service, mot, tax, tolls, fuels cost and change of number plates after arriving in Spain. There are some reparations that are required to make this vehicle arrive in the best condition it can. to keep costs down for the rescue in Spain.

The van is in need of a face lift and to keep costs down as much as possible we are looking to get it wrapped white and have the rescue logos added for the road trip to Spain.

With all this in mind we are against the clock as we would love to combine the road trip UK to Spain ( all to be documented and live streamed) bringing the van out with our first event in the UK so everyone who supports can see the finished van in person and we can thank everyone face to face.

All money collected will be used to get the van fit for travel and to get the van to Spain to the FFH Rescue. If any money isn't spent the remaining amount will support the vets bill in Spain for the dogs care, all reciepts will be provided

What a day it will be to achieve this goal for the FFH Rescue Sanctuary in Spain. An Unreal Experience and adventure will begin for all the dogs in care.

A very real part of this whole dream will come TRUE to see a van that is with logos and rescue information, what a sight!

We have updates please check our the original description for more. work is currently being done to the van to get it road worthy. a few more problems have come to attention like brake pads, discs, new tyres and more. After this step is complete we will move forward to the mot, service and tax which we are greatly appreciative of for having the donations in currently to do this.

SAD NEWS UPDATED: 13-05-2025

We here at Finding forever homes - 5R's have made the sad decision to pull back the date of completion for this fundraiser.

not because we want to but because some other priorities have come in at much urgency. our vet bill from 2024 needing to be cleared URGENTLY.

we cannot afford to complete this fundraiser ourselves it is why we reach out and ask for shares and donations to make this possible.

we are sorry for this.

This leaves myself and the dogs very saddened as we had many plans for the summer to get the dogs out and stimulated early mornings and late evenings before the sun is at peak heat.

We now aim to have the road trip happen between the 24-29th of August 2025.

UPDATE 15-07-2025 NEW DATE TO DRIVE TO SPAIN... 20TH SEPTEMBER and the date is set.

can we hit this goal... we are damm sure gonna try.

UPDATES coming regularly as promised but not much to report.

you love and support on this project and fundraiser is much appreciated. we are struggling to complete more and more of this nearly half way target.

all donations currently have been withdrawn and the works for the van is nearly complete. just not the spray job, new tyres, possible new cam and fan belts and possible turbo. ( turbo not major can be done at a later time.)

insurance, tax all needs to be raised for... as well as booking the boat transport over with the van.

to complete this road trip we must complete the gfm or put back the collection dates,

Since the last update we now have completed all the hubs, MOT certified, flights are booked to collect the van and the log book is now sent off for change of names.
