Hi, my name is Laura, myself, my brother John and dad Robert are asking for your help to bring my mum home from Cyprus. My mum is 68 years old and has COPD & Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukaemia, she was recently given 12 months to live due to the CMML, but declared fit to fly by both doctors in the uk, we travelled to Cyprus together 2 weeks ago, 2 days into my mums last holiday to a place she loved with her whole heart she was bed bound, because she has managed with her conditions for a long time we respected her wishes to rest privately.

On Friday 24th of April she was admitted into Paphos General Public Accident & Emergency department where we was told she was in critical condition, we was not allowed to stay with her regardless of her critical state, we returned to the hospital the next day where we was made aware that she was not being treated with the care and respect she deserved

she remained In Paphos until Sunday 26th April where she was transferred and treated at Limassol General Public Hospital, where she remains as of Friday 1st May. We have all dealt with a large amount of upset and stress during this time, however my mums condition improved and we was given notice that she was fit to fly by the doctor, we arranged for a paramedic to fly from the UK to Cyprus to medically escort, tream and monitor my mum on the journey home, the day the paramedic arrived another doctor informed us my mum could not fly by commercial airline and would require an air ambulance to be discharged from the hospital, this is what we are asking for your help with, while the fund goal is large and times are difficult for everyone, we would appreciate any support and kindness you can offer.

My poor mum is weak, scared and alone for most of the day, please help us return her to the UK so she can receive the care she needs surrounded by her friends and family.
