Get our home back up and running

Hello my names Aaliyah and my partner is Arthur, it was 2am on December the 10th 2024 when I was awoken by my dog growling and barking and biting me trying to get me out of bed, I ignored her and brushed it off till she continued to do it again and again so I went to put her in kitchen and when I got up I smelt a strong stench of smoke I thought I had left the oven on so I rushed to the kitchen to find my oven was off at the wall I looked around for flames or anywhere this smell of smoke could be coming from to then look down my hallway and my hallway was FULL of thick black smoke swarming my flat very quickly I ran through to my room grabbed my 8 week old baby and wrapped him up in a blanket protecting him from breathing the smoke in I woke my partner Arthur hill who then rushed to grab our eldest son who is 1 and a half. We tried to exist the main door but it was blocked and it was letting more smoke in. So we went in the bathroom and I shout out the window for help the public was shouting there is another family up there. The fire men/women came very quickly with ladders asking how many of us there was (there being 4 of us 5 including a dog) we quickly handed the baby’s out of the bathroom window and then my partner followed then I came out last as I was trying to get my dog. The fire people saved my dog and brought her done and she is fine and all okay !

The fire started from someone setting my double pushchair on fire down stairs in the communal hallway which caused what seems a very quick fire that spread very quickly and could’ve actually ended up killing 4 family’s in total! And 2 pets !

a lot of items are smoke damaged and my £500 pram has been destroyed along side my single pram that was next to it which was £600.

also to bare in mind that my fire alarms did not go off so therefor do not work clearly ! So please check your alarms as often as possible as I use to say these things would never happen to me and I was so wrong I am a victim of an attack of fire and I will get mine and my family’s justice !
