I'm raising funds for my friend Raven. She's a single mom going through a contentious divorce, and that's the least of her worries.

Recently her only vehicle quit working. She has no way to get around other than Uber. Fortunately, she lives in an area with amenities within walking distance, but as a Mom, she needs a car. She is trying to save for this on her own.

Yesterday she had breast cancer surgery; they removed a large tumor and three lymph nodes. Another surgery is in her future, as well as radiation treatments. As you can imagine, she is putting every ounce of energy into getting well right now.

As if she didn't have enough on her plate, she lost her home in the divorce. She and the boys are currently staying in a hotel, but the manager has decided not to renew their stay. She has until tomorrow to find somewhere else to go and to get out. The manager is completely inflexible and insists they be out less than 48 hours after Raven's major surgery.

This is just more than she can handle right now, so I'm asking for help getting her into an apartment. She needs help with a deposit, paying back rent on her storage unit, utility deposits, and some basic household items. She has a little saved but it is not nearly enough, and time is running out.
