Get This Marine (our Dad) Safely to His New Home

Hi, my name is Tom Mihelic, and my family and I are raising funds to get our father (also Tom) settled into a care home that is able to meet his specific health needs. Dad suffers from a rare and debilitating disease called end-stage inclusive body myositis. This condition requires a high level of assistance with daily activities. Unfortunately, he has exceeded the level of care available at his current facility and must be moved to another by August 26. Once settled into his new home, monthly expenses will be covered. However, the transition is quite costly, and we find ourselves in need of your help.

Our dad, Tom, is a former Marine (if there is such a creature) who, up until the onset of this horrible disease, was very active in his community as well as on the golf course. He is currently able to enjoy his days via the mobility provided to him by his wheelchair and socializing with people where ever he goes.

All donations will cover the necessary medical transport from his current location in Goodyear, AZ to his new home, separate transportation of his specialty furniture, the initial move-in deposit, and any additional costs.
