Get Oscar to RAN

Hello everyone!

My biggest aspiration in life has been to play sport professionally whilst having a chance to see the world. Some of you may know, that I play for Jamaica Rugby 7s (an unfunded national team) and our next tournament is in Mexico for the Rugby Americas North 7s (RAN) tournament in November. This is a key tournament in the calendar, as it qualifies us for multiple tournaments next year! These tournaments provide opportunities for exposure as a team, which could hopefully lead to sponsorships and the tournaments that qualify for the HSBC World Sevens Series!

We have competed this year in both the Commonwealth Games and Rugby World Cup. However neither of these opportunities would’ve been possible without first having gone to RAN. This upcoming tournament is a great opportunity for our team to repeat that success and qualify for the Pan American Games 2023, Central American and Caribbean Games 2023 and the 2023 World Rugby Challenger Series!

Funding for our team has been an obstacle in recent times due to the pandemic, so I'm looking for a small donation of £5 to help towards my flight to Mexico. I would really appreciate your help as it would mean a step further towards playing getting to a position where we could play professionally and making this dream become a reality.
