Ana Lucia Barquin (“Analu”) was diagnosed with a "solid psuedopapillary tumor" (SPN) of her pancreas. SPN is a rare epithelial tumor affecting young women between their 3rd and 4th decade of life and is hopefully treatable. HOWEVER, the reality in Guatemala is that she cannot be seen quickly enough, and we are looking for alternatives, but unfortunately that requires money.
Analu has been subjected to two delicate surgeries, one in March and the other one in July of this year. Today she is fighting again for her life, as the champion that she is, because the doctor found a new tumor so she is facing a third delicate surgery and radiotherapy.
We would REALLY appreciate your financial support to make this journey a bit easier. Thank you so much!
