Oli spent a long time, working and grafting in England in order to get a rugby scholarship to a University in America. After making this dream reality he decided to spend his summer in San Diego with a close friend who had taken a similar path to the US.
In the years I’ve known Oli I had never seen him so happy and at peace than he has been in his new home. He was meeting new people, having incredible experiences, and ultimately enjoying life.
One night, oli had been out with his new friends making the most of his summer. Oli, being the life of any party, was out on a Saturday night and tragically fell from a dangerous height, landing on his head.
The damage to his head and spine were so detrimental that he was rushed to an ICU, where he has remained in an induced coma ever since. With the injuries sustained to his spine, Oli will most likely have to learn to walk again, let alone play the sport he was brought out to play. He has undergone multiple surgeries and procedures in order to save his life and ultimately get him back on his feet.
Oli is a fighter, he always has been. Something like this however, he cannot fight alone.
This go fund me is to help oli recover and get back to his feet by aiding him in any way possible. Be that rehabilitation costs, personal expenditure, or anything else the lad needs to improve his quality of life.
Any donations are welcome and much appreciated. He’s mates back home, family and new friends are all here to support him, and we wish him the fastest recovery.
