Get Officer Holtry back on a Harley

Donation protected
Cpl. Kevin Holtry, a 17-year Boise Police Department veteran, was critically injured with multiple gunshot wounds on November 11th. He and a second officer, Cpl. Chris Davis, were injured in an exchange of gunfire with a fugitive parolee, Marco Romero, who was killed in the gunfight.

Holtry has always been a Harley-Davidson rider and was actually in the market for a new Harley two weeks prior to the shooting, which left him  paralized from the waist down and his left leg was amputated.

All of us at High Desert Harley-Davidson would like to get the community involved in GETTING KEVIN BACK ON A HARLEY!  We want to raise enough money to help make all of the necessary modifications to a brand new Tri-Glide Ultra Trike Harley-Davidson!  As you can imagine, we'll need to modify the H-D so Kevin can control the bike with his hands and arms, including brakes, clutch, gears, etc.

With the assistance of Edward Flesher, in our service department, modifications will be made to help Kevin get on and off the bike easily and safely, and create a way to carry his wheelchair onboard.

Edward is extremely passionate and very knowledgeable about what it takes to make this all happen.

Please help if you can, share with all of your friends, and follow Kevin on his journey to GET BACK ON A HARLEY.  We will post all updates on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/highdeserthd.

If you are a business and would like to donate any items for an event we're having for Kevin June 17th, please drop those by High Desert Harley-Davidson.  (5013c tax deductible donation).

Thank you in advance from all of us at High Desert Harley-Davidson and from Kevin's friends and family.
