Hi friends, family and doggo lovers,

My name is Kelsey Carter and I’m putting this page together for Oakley, my in-laws’ sweet fur baby who has managed to tear her ACL doing who-knows-what — probably something overly dramatic like jumping off a couch to bark at a leaf or body flopping on the ground like she does lol!

Oakley is a sweet, loyal, slightly neurotic ball of fur who lives for belly rubs, cow patrol, and zoomies around the backyard. Sadly, those zoomies came to a screeching halt when she hurt her leg. The diagnosis? A torn ACL (yep, dogs have those too.)

Now she’s limping around like a pirate with a peg leg, and it’s clear she’s not her usual wiggly self. The vet says she needs surgery to fix it — and apparently, canine ACL repairs don’t come cheap (shocking, we know). The surgery is going to cost roughly $4,000-5,000 , which is a lot for a family that already shares their couch, snacks, and sanity with this oversized lapdog.

We’re asking for help covering the surgery so Oakley can get back to chasing her siblings and Gunner, smiling, and living her best four-legged life.
