Get Noelie the Goalie Home!
As some of you may know, My uncle Noel Hughes has spent the last 6 months of his life in hospital confined to a bed in agony due to his diabetes .
Noel has come so far and beat all the odd's that were stacked against him!
After an infection being missed and almost dying of Sepsis and Kidney failure he then had to have his left leg amputated.
NOW the real fight starts to get Noel home,
Someone who has worked all his life along with Carol his wife are being failed by the Council and Government and are being told they're not entitled to a grant anywhere near the costs that are needed to have the badly needed modifications done to the house in order for Noel to be able to return home safely.
Noel needs to permanently live downstairs now, and these works include ramps to the front and back garden, wheelchair accessible bathroom, all doors widened, among other things going into the 10's of thousands..
Noel has done more for me than i will ever be able to repay him for, He deserves to be able to live out the remainder of his years comfortably and with dignity in his own home not punished for working and cast aside when he needs help through no fault of his own, it's sickening.
Its a big ask, but i'm hoping everyone can come together as a community and give something no matter how small, it can make a difference.
If you can't donate, i'd appreciate the share as Noel is well known in the area from playing football at a high level in his youth and it could reach the right people who would be in a position to give..
Thanks so much
Donielle
