Invited to exhibit her daring photographs into an art museum in Mexico, Nicolle hopes to count on your support to accomplish her dream.

Since only few years old Nicolle was observing things none else saw and using her mum’s phone to show others the fine lines and atmospheres she was discovering in every day situations, underneath a table, on an alley, a carpark...

It might be her life process of individuation she is experiencing while snapping the world around her. Making sense of her different way of learning and communication through every shot which completes her meaning, purpose and sense of relatedness.

It might be that for Nicolle a photograph is her picture perfect liminal space, that transitional space, that “movement through space and time, from disorientation to integration” as the psychologist Jung described liminality in society.

Each of her audacious photographs also picture in themselves a liminal space, an in-between from one destination to the next. They are a threshold between a pre-stablished space and a potentially unpredictable one, a movement captured in a fraction of a second towards shaping her sense of place/ sense of belonging.

Lines that harmoniously play under her lens —the common i-phone— improbable colored-atmospheres that seem to only appear when she shoots are among the aesthetic qualities of the pictures Nicolle can exhibit with your support.

Nicolle’s solo exhibition will be inaugurated on the 15th of July 2022 in the Museo de la Ciudad de Queretaro (Queretaro’s City Museum), in the State of Queretaro in Mexico, the artistic epicenter of the city where renowned artists like Teresa Margolles, Dr. Lakra or Martha Pacheco have exhibited.

Invitada a exhibir sus atrevidas fotografías en un museo de arte en México, Nicolle espera contar con tu apoyo para lograr su sueño.

Desde que tenía unos pocos años, Nicolle observaba cosas que nadie más veía y usaba el teléfono de su mamá para mostrar a los demás las finas líneas y las atmósferas que descubría en situaciones cotidianas, debajo de una mesa, en un pasillo, en un estacionamiento...

Podría ser el proceso de individuación de su vida que está experimentando mientras captura el mundo que la rodea. Dar sentido a su forma diferente de aprender y comunicarse a través de cada toma que completa su significado, propósito y sentido de relación.

Puede ser que para Nicolle una fotografía sea su imagen perfecta del espacio liminal, ese espacio de transición, ese “movimiento a través del espacio y el tiempo, de la desorientación a la integración” como el psicólogo Jung describió la liminalidad en la sociedad.

Cada una de sus audaces fotografías también representa en sí mismas un espacio liminal, un intermedio entre un destino y el siguiente. Son un umbral entre un espacio preestablecido y uno potencialmente impredecible, un movimiento capturado en una fracción de segundo para dar forma a su sentido de lugar/ sentido de pertenencia.

Líneas que juegan armoniosamente bajo su lente —el común i-phone—, atmósferas de colores inverosímiles que parecen aparecer sólo cuando ella dispara son algunas de las cualidades estéticas de las imágenes que Nicolle puede exhibir con tu apoyo.
