I had given up on getting to SC Nationals this year...but here I am.

I first qualified for nats at the LA Fit Expo in May. Afterward, one of my competitors asked if I was going to make the trip. "No, I just can't afford it," I said. I had borrowed my roommate's car just to get to LA because my car is on its way out. And Erie isn't cheap to get to from CA. Then I qualified a second time by winning Wrath of the Strongest in Sacramento in June. Tommy, David, and the team asked how I felt about nationals. I told them I wasn't gonna make it. Turns out they didn't like that answer, and suggested we raise funds together. With the team and the community behind me, I'm giving this a shot!

The cost of flight, registration, lodging, and other expenses comes to around $1300. So that's the goal to hit by August 15.
