Get my father a pet ct scan

My father has been diagnosed with dementia, it's the worst, the absolute worst thing that's happening to my super hero. My dad was a firefighter for 25 years and received a long service good conduct award, he literally walks on water to me and I'll do anything I can to help him, I can't put into words how crippling this is to our family, We are now waiting for him to have a pet ct scan and we are in the system, but it's a very long wait to get the scan, while we are waiting his condition is deteriorating and the symptoms are becoming more pronounced, we are desperate for him to get the scan as soon as possible to then be able to get the diagnoses and then receive the medication necessary to treat it and slow it down. The scan costs 1700 pounds. I have never done anything this before, I am asking for your help, to help my dad to be my dad for as long as possible. Dementia is so cruel, it's robbing him and us a bit more every day. Please help us to help him. Thank you xxxxx
