Steve and Karen — known to many as Mr & Mrs Whitesnake — are two incredible Leeds United fans living all the way in New Zealand.

Steve was born in Armley, Leeds, before moving to Australia at the age of 5. Despite living on the other side of the world, his heart has always stayed true to Leeds United. Eventually, Steve built a wonderful life in New Zealand with his soulmate Karen, the love of his life. Together, they’ve never stopped supporting Leeds from afar.

If you know Steve, you’ll know what an amazing man he is. He’s not just a passionate fan, he’s also a kind friend, always lifting others up. He regularly sends messages of encouragement to Leeds content creators and fellow supporters online — always spreading positivity, family values, honesty, and love.

But behind that smile, Steve faces tough mental and physical battles every single day. Finances mean that travelling back to Elland Road has never been possible for him and Karen. Yet, after a lifetime of loyalty, we believe they deserve this once-in-a-lifetime chance.
