Hello, everyone!
I am producing my original play MOTHER at Hollywood Fringe Festival 2026 and I could not be more excited!
This story is very special and personal to me. Many of us often become so overwhelmed with the challenges of daily life, and we forget to take a step back and examine ourselves within the context of something greater than us.
The play asks a lot of questions of its audience. My hope is that in the asking of those questions, you can get a deeper understanding of what makes you special in a world that is constantly trying to convince you that you're not.
We're raising money to help cover production costs for MOTHER for Hollywood Fringe 2026. Any amount will help us greatly! We also have a Prop Wish List for pieces that will be used in the show, if you would prefer to show your support that way :)
Thank you so much for being here and supporting the arts!
With love,
Christine Dickinson

Here is more about the show:
Every family line carries its own inherited, unresolved pain. MOTHER, a one woman multimedia play by Christine Dickinson, explores a daughter’s experience of that legacy through her fractured and complicated relationship with her mother, who lives thousands of miles away and is ignoring her calls.
Cut off from the guidance of Mother, Daughter must navigate the challenges of womanhood in a modern world, while attempting to suppress a unique pain she can’t quite place.
MOTHER is a psychological thriller piece that asks us to examine our morality, our purpose, and our role within our ancestral line.
The show features actor Christine Dickinson* as Daughter.
The play runs approximately 50 minutes with no intermission. It includes flashing lights, loud noises, smoke, and disturbing images and themes. It is directed by Kaitlin Humphreys and features an original score by composer Ben Finn.
