Get Mohannad out of Gaza

Hi. I'm Pete and I'm doing this fundraiser on behalf of Mohannad and his family in Gaza. Here's his story!

"I am Mohannad from Palestine (Gaza),

I am a fourth-year medical student studying medicine in Ukraine. However, due to the Ukrainian-Russian war, I returned to Gaza after a very difficult journey. I tried to transfer my studies from Ukraine to Georgia, however, and as the university approved my application, the Embassy of Georgia rejected my visa, their response was that I am from Gaza, and they have no instructions to allow visas for us.

I then tried to go back to Ukraine to continue my studies in Ukraine, but I couldn't because of the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, my flight was supposed to be on Oct 15th. Here I am, wanting to complete my studies and fulfill my dream of becoming a surgeon like my father, who remained working in the northern Gaza Strip hospital despite his difficult conditions. He underwent three spinal surgeries in less than six months, leading to partial paralysis in his left foot. He underwent physical therapy and rehabilitation but couldn't complete the necessary treatment due to the war, yet since the first day of the war, he has been at working nonstop refusing to evacuate or leave the hospital because he insists on staying to fulfill his duty towards his people.

We have been in a tent for more than three months now, and we want to travel to Egypt. Firstly, to survive if it is destined for us, secondly, to be able to travel to Ukraine and try to return to my academic life and the idea of becoming a doctor again. Thirdly, to see my younger brother who is studying artificial intelligence and who will finish the last semester of his academic career, and it would be an honor for us or any family member to be by his side at his graduation ceremony. He is living in extreme fear for us and reuniting would mean the world for us.
