Get Mindy back on the Dance Floor

After waking up with flu-like symptoms in the middle of the night my mom was trying to make it to the couch  to lay down when she passed out - landing badly on her neck. My dad woke up to the sound of her falling   to find her unconscious and paralyzed at 3am, March 6th.  

After nearly 2 weeks in the hospital and spinal cord surgery, the neurosurgeon explained what to expect over the next 6-12mos.  Due to her fairly severe arthritis and bone spurs in her neck, her spinal cord was bruised from the fall and with a slow recovery/rehab can expect her to  regain strength in her hands, arms and legs and eventually walk again over the next year or so.

We are raising money to help with the doctor bills (she has been in the hospital for 12+ days, surgery on her spinal cord) , moving to a rehab facility for 6 weeks - 6 months depending on her progress and loss of income from working full time.
