Get Mike Walking Again

On May 9th, 2015 I had surgery to correct spinal cord abnormalities. Due to complications during surgery (coding 3 times on the OR table and 1 stroke) I had to undergo 3 other surgeries to correct the first surgery. After being under the knife, I was left with  paralysis from the neck down (now waist down), partial blindness, high blood pressure, and severe other surgical cause illness. Over the past three years I have been placed in multiple rehabilitation programs given extensive physical therapy. With this treatment I have shown signs of limited ability with my arms( I am able to brush my hair, my teeth, and feed myself), I currently have limited feeling in my lower body requiring help from loved ones on a daily basis. With that being said, I am asking today for your help!! We have found a very amazing program that will allow me to work hard and almost guarantee me walking ( on my own) out of their facility. This place located in Tempe, Arizona is called Project Walk Paralysis Recovery Center ( www.projectwalk.com). At this facility I will undergo extensive workouts including but not limited too balancing, walking, lifting techniques etc. This program will help me regain use of my limbs and bring me back to the Mike we all know and love. This program is CASH ONLY ( they do not take insurance), which brings me here today. I am looking to raise $8000 for traveling expenses, and for the cost of the treatment.
