Help Micah Walk Again – CCL Surgery for My Sweet Girl

Hi friends, animal lovers, and kind humans—

I never thought I’d be starting one of these, but here we are—because my dog Micah has torn her CCL (the dog version of an ACL), and now she’s doing this heartbreaking little hop just to get around. She’s trying her best, but she can’t walk without pain, and it’s getting worse by the day.

Micah is 9 years old and has been my best friend for nearly a decade. She’s the kind of dog that greets everyone like they’re her long-lost soulmate and always knows when I need a snuggle or a goofy distraction. She has a heart bigger than her bark (which is honestly not very intimidating).

The vet says she needs surgery to repair the ligament and get her back to living her best life—chasing squirrels she’ll never catch, swimming all day long, and acting like she’s never been fed when she just had dinner. The surgery is scheduled for this Thursday, and it comes with a price tag of $4,000.

I wish I could cover it all on my own, but this came out of nowhere, and I’m just not there financially. That’s why I’m asking for help—anything you can give will go directly toward Micah’s surgery, recovery, and getting her back on all fours again

Even if you can’t donate, sharing this would mean everything. I know times are tough, and there are a lot of good causes out there. I just happen to believe a dog with a wobbly leg, a big heart, and a truly Oscar-worthy “I’m in pain, please carry me” face is one of them.
