Get Melanie moving again

Please pray and donate for Melanie.  Despite a diagnosis of Lyme at the age of 14, she became such a bright, hardworking, humorous, and dear young woman. After being homeschooled, she got an AS degree in Business, double BS degrees (Business and Management), and an MBA all with 4.0 GPAs.  She got involved in many types of dancing including swing dancing as well as teaching and traveling to learn more.  This over-achiever needs an over-achieving healing right now despite all of the doctors of various specialties over the years.

Melanie felt that the dancing was helping her joints which suffered despite no further Lyme diagnosis, yet her arms were unable to straighten after a while.  Stiffness and inflammation would occur with her knees looking like cantaloupes on occasion.  Yet not one but three times she went on international pilgrimages for World Youth Day with the Pope to Spain (at which time she was able to get dipped in the healing water of Lourdes, France), Brazil and Poland.

In 2018 alone, she had $52,000 of uncovered expenses including stem cell therapy on one shoulder and both elbows, many uncovered intravenous treatments (vitamin C IVs, allergy shots, and more), and doctors of uncovered specialties.

In September of 2019. one of her life dreams was realized as she got married.  On their way home from their honeymoon, she had a doctor's appointment where she learned that she has no cartilage in either of her hips which explains the pain and difficulties she had been having.

In October of 2019, despite all of her treatments, stem cell therapy in her hips left her completely unable to walk.  She needs help dressing and getting carried when she needs to take stairs or using a wheelchair.  Ken needs to prepare food for her before leaving for work because she can no longer walk. Melanie has a commode next to the bed which she struggles to use while Ken is not home.  Because of her current condition and inability to walk at all, her main doctor has designated her as "homebound".  Communion is brought to her weekly, and she is mostly limited to going to her doctors' appointments.  Ken needs to do the laundry, cooking/dishes, cleaning, and all of the outdoor and other husband chores too.  Fortunately, their bedroom and a half bath are on the main floor.  Both rooms have been mostly remodeled to accommodate a handicap shower for Melanie which should be installed very soon.

Please pray for this lovely, normally joy-filled and humorous lady.  If you live near their home, please share gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, corn-free meals with them. If you find a clean dust cloth in your car, please drop by to help Ken out.  Melanie needs the miracle of God's Hand upon her especially as they discern and research a double hip replacement and subsequent probable rehab.  Get all prayer chains moving on her cause.  Please thank God for the blessing of a borrowed wheelchair.  Donations of any amount towards these uncovered medical expenses and handicap bathroom remodel would really warm their hearts and relieve their extremely strained newlywed finances.   Please pray too for the possible upcoming double hip replacement on this 29-year-old lady.

As her mother, I beg your prayers and thank you so much for any and all help you might be able to give. May God bless you back abundantly for every prayer and dollar offered on her behalf.  Please share this message too!
