THANK YOU EVERYONE-she has a place!!!!

Megan and I grew up together in Rhode Island. Years of playing softball together, sleep overs, school and just being kids. After high school Megan was forced to up and move out of state following her father's suicide, as it was really just too much for one daughter to handle. She has two beautiful children whom she shares custody with. In recent years Megan has become the victim of significant physical and mental abuse from a man she trusted and thought would be her champion. Suffering severe mental trauma from a literal gun to her head, she is now battling extreme physical ailments.

This past week friends pulled together to locate Megan, finding out she was admitted to the ICU and will be facing a long road of diagnoses and treatment.

On top of this, she is being evicted from the property she and her abusive ex shared. She is not in a place of being able to find another job quickly and just needs a little help to get on her feet and away from a house that has caused her so much misery.

As any of us know, finding an affordable apartment - especially one that will take in a pet- is near impossible in this market...

IF we can all donate a little, and share a lot... maybe we can take the financial burden off of her to at least get into a home with her dog, where her girls can come and safely stay and she can heal.

Megan is a prideful woman, one who hates to take any help never mind a handout... so this took some convincing.

With the money raised, it will go directly to getting her into an apartment (security, first month... maybe second if we can), thus allowing her time to find work and get on her feet.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering helping her at this time.
