Get me to Jr. World Finals in Las Vegas, NV

Good day family friends and good relatives, we are starting our fundraising efforts on behalf of our son, brother, nephew, grandson Legend Walker Realbird. At the age of 11 He has qualified for the Jr. World Finals of Team Roping on the heel side. Which is held in Las Vegas, NV at the convention center. Same time as National Finals Rodeo Dec 11–16,2023.

He will be competing with 30 of the best of the best 17 and under team ropers across US and Canada. Legend is the only 3-Affilated Tribes enrolled member of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation to qualify for this event this year.

Legend is also from the Crow Nation on his paternal side of the family.

Legend has been team roping on the heeling side since the age of 8, he has won numerous buckles in which he already gifted his Papa Gordon Sr. Realbird and Granddad Pete Fredericks buckles. He is also super proud to win a saddle roping with his Dad Gordon Jr. In 2021 at Wickenburg, AZ.

He has been on a horse since age of 4 months starting his career as a horsemen parading during the crow fair to chasing cows and branding at papa Gordon’s & grandad Pete’s. At the age of 4 Legend owned his own mini ponies and learned to be a solid confident rider on his main one named Tank. From then on he continually moved up to a Welch then the big horses. His love and determination for roping, riding, and the rodeo way of life speaks for itself already winning at junior rodeos and competing aggressively.
