Increasing oral health literacy, and access to care in underserved communities of color is how I imagine my career as a dentist. No swanky Park avenue office, no privatized care; just a commitment to the idea that quality health care is a right NOT a privelage! Completing my dental education brings me one step closer to making this goal a reality, but unfortunately like many other students financing their own education, COVID-19 has significantly impacted my ability to cover the cost of tuition. In order to meet my tuition goal of for the 2020-2021 academic year I'm asking for your help! Get me back into dental school and closer to creating healthy communities one smile at a time : )
