Maya is an amazing 8th grader at Stanwood Middle School who has earned a remarkable opportunity: to join her classmates on an educational trip to Washington D.C. this July 2026!

This isn't just a fun trip; it's a vital extension of her classroom learning that will bring our nation's history and government to life.

The D.C. trip will allow her to walk the halls of Congress, visit the Smithsonian museums, stand where monumental speeches were given, and see firsthand how our government operates. These are experiences that cannot be replicated in a textbook.
