Our family is reaching out for help to support our beautiful 4-year-old granddaughter, who lives with Spina Bifida and is a full-time wheelchair user.
Before she was even born, she became the very first baby within the Aneurin Bevan Health Board to undergo life-changing surgery in the womb. Surgeons operated to close the lesion on her spine and repair the sac before safely placing her back inside her mother’s womb. From the very beginning, she has shown incredible strength and determination.
Since then, she has faced countless hospital appointments, treatments, and daily challenges, yet she continues to smile every single day without complaint. She truly is an inspirational little girl.
As she grows older, independence means everything to her. Recently, she discovered a TriRide wheelchair attachment and immediately asked if she could have one herself. This amazing piece of equipment would give her greater freedom and independence, allowing her to move around more easily while reducing the strain on her arms when using her wheelchair.
Unfortunately, the cost of a TriRide is far beyond what our family can currently afford, which is why we are humbly asking for help. We are hoping that through donations, sponsorship, fundraising support, or advice on funding opportunities, we may be able to make her dream come true.
Every donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Most importantly, it would give an incredible little girl more confidence, freedom, and independence as she continues to grow.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for any support you may be able to offer. Please feel free to message us with any information or advice regarding funding or sponsorship opportunities.
