UPDATE: 31/12/25

As at the end of December, we have now raised over £4,000 which is totally incredible. We are targeting to get to £5,000 which will fund 14 new planters - to be installed in spring. Thank you for your support and please spread the word for this final push!

UPDATE: 03/12/25

With the amazing support of our local community, we have hit the original funding target of £3,500 in just 3 days. So that's 10 planters funded... time to go for even more. I have increased the target to £5,000 and lets see if we can get planters all the way to the cafe

31/11/25

After the overwhelming success of the first planter campaign in spring 2025, which installed 10 beautiful, wildlife friendly and drought tolerant planters in the park, Friends of Lyttelton are launching a follow up campaign to fund the installation of up to 10 more this spring. These new planters will continue down the path in front of the playground, towards the cafe and be planted in a similar style. The planters are planted and maintained by volunteers and local schools.

All donations are welcome, and will be recognised on engraved plaques on each planter. Individual planters can be funded by families, individuals, organisations or businesses for just £350 with a bespoke dedication, an option which has proved highly popular. See examples here.
