This is Luna. She's a beautiful Great Dane with playful energy and loves attention!

A couple of months ago Luna was struck by a vehicle and suffered a broken Femoral head. Unfortunately, her owners were unable to cover the bill for care and had to surrender her. My girlfriend, Dr. Michala Frederick, couldn't find it in her to put down such an otherwise healthy young dog. So she decided to take ownership of this lovely girl.

Once Luna recovered from internal bleeding and a bout with aspiration pneumonia, the surgery was completed successfully. She was also spayed and had a gastropexy procedure performed. After all that, the final bill was just under $11,000. We've been able to raise $3,000 privately and have gotten relief from the generous practice owner to the tune of $2,000. Finally her new owners have paid $1,500 for her elective procedures. Now we are asking for your help to raise the remaining $3,500

This lovely girl has been through a lot and any help to get her closer to a forever home is greatly appreciated. Give what you can and please share with your friends and family!
