Get Lucy Through Chemo

Hola Amigos,

Our beloved Lucy is going through chemotherapy for ovarian cancer as she recovers from surgery. She is valiantly journeying across the halfway mark of transfusion therapy. After chemotherapy she will be on a PARP inhibitor for two years. This drug is taken orally and has similar side effects to chemo including anemia and compromised immune system.

For those who don't know her, Lucy is an international muralist, facilitator of authentic movement, SRT, CI Underscores and Wonderscores, dancer, artist and a great composer of improvised song.

 

Financial help for medical expenses and healing support is needed. Donations will be used for transportation to and from chemotherapy sessions, and for acupuncture, massage, alternative therapies, prescribed drugs, and supplements that counter the side effects of chemotherapy (pain, digestive issues, neuropathy, exhaustion and nausea).

 

Other expenses include rent as she is immunocompromised and cannot have a room-mate at this moment. 

 

Companionship and other non-monetary healing support is equally appreciated!
