Meet Lucy.

She was abandoned and set to be euthanized at a California kill shelter on June 28 —until Bubbles Dog Rescue stepped in.

When local options didn’t work out, Bubbles broadened the search using Petfinder, and we are so glad they did. That’s how Lucy—great with kids, other dogs, and known to aggressively snuggle unsuspecting couch cushions and tiny dog beds—found her way into our hearts.

We fell in love instantly, and now Lucy is Canada-bound and about to become an Honourary Newfoundlander.
