Get LMPA to the Dance World Cup 2024

We are a team of 20 young dancers aged 9 to 18, who train with Lisa Marie Performing Arts (LMPA) in York. We have qualified to represent Team England and will be competing at the Dance World Cup Finals in June 2024!

What is the Dance World Cup?

Considered the dance ‘Olympics’, 62 countries will compete at the Dance World Cup Finals in Prague. To qualify, we competed in the English Qualifiers against the very best young dancers in the country. 20,000 children and young adults enter the qualifying rounds internationally each year for a chance to represent their country at the event.

With each country only having five places available per age, per genre, it is a huge achievement for our York-based team to be awarded a place on Team England.

Attending this event requires significant funding and we are looking to raise £10,000!

To attend the competition there are significant entry and membership fees and each child needs Team England uniform. The qualified dances require new costumes and all of this is before the cost of travel and accommodation.
