Get Livie HOME

I'm Tiffany and I created this for my sister Jessie. I saw everyone on her TikTok saying she should make one to help get Livie home and I decided to do it while she's constantly trying battle the legalities.

Yall have seen her TikTok for the information. But for those that haven't.

Livie sought help under Jessie's porch Friday Night/ Saturday Morning. She was in very poor condition and couldn't even walk. Jessie rushed her to the emergency vet to get the care she needed. She had no chip and at that point Jessie deemed her as family.

Jessie wanted to go by the book and adopt Livie so noone could come back later and cause problems. In order to do that animal control had to take Livie for 3 days and then Jessie could foster her for a month before she could officially adopt her. During this time legally she had to be posted for the owner to claim her. A short time later someone claimed her. Jessie came them the benefit of the doubt thinking that she was lost for a long time and that's why she was in such a horrible condition. It was then she found out that Livie was only lost overnight and that the owners let Livie get to this condition because they claim they could not afford to take her to the vet.

The county said that the owners would only get a warning and would have periodical welfare checks. They can go a legal way to get her back but it will be at least 30 days which were unsure if Livie will make it without the proper care.

They have pleaded with the owner to let them keep Livie but his concerns are that he wanted to keep her so he could breed her more and make a profit. The owner agreed to turn her over to Jessie as long as she paid $7,000. Livie is worth it but times are tough for everyone and that is a lot to give with having a family.

I'm fully confident that the TikTok/Facebook/Instagram community will come together to help get this girl home where she needs to be.
