Get Lisa back on track

Hello friends! I'm asking for your help on behalf of a dear friend of mine, Lisa Sprague. If anyone has given you a hand during a hard point in your life, I'm hoping you might find it in you to donate to my friend now. We all need a little extra support at times, and she needs us right now.

I met Lisa through our local Buy Nothing group last year when I gave her a CD player, and she created playlists for me. She has brought so much music and fun into my life! I learned that she was a professional cellist starting at age 13 and lived and worked in New Orleans for a while. She took me under her wing, taught me so much about practicing and performing, and we did a small set in Lafayette as a duo in March. It was the first time I'd ever done anything like that. I am indebted to her for her patience and willingness to share her musical gifts with me.

As I've gotten to know her, I've been surprised to learn that some people living in our very posh little suburb are having a hard time getting by. Through a combination of rotten luck, health issues and life trauma, Lisa is in a substantial financial hole. She recently got a new job which is helping to stabilize things, but the hole is too deep. Against her wishes, I am setting up my first GoFundMe so that she can get back on her feet.
