Lees Studios and Performing Arts is one of West Dunbartonshire’s longest running dance schools, founded by Sandra Lees and ran by both Sandra and Zoe Lees. Classes are offered to children age 2+ in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Highland and PBT.

This year, Lees Studios applied for Dance World Cup, the largest multi-genre competition in the world with over 10,000 dancers attending each year. We were delighted to announce, that after weeks of rehearsals and auditions, 12 of our amazing dancers were offered a place in Team Scotland for the 2026 World Finals in Dublin, qualifying in all genres in solos, duets/trios, quartets and small/large groups.

We couldn’t be any prouder of our little team who applied! We are also teaming up with A+ Dance Academy for lots of team dances, so in goal we have 19 dancers attending!

However, the cost of the trip is very high, with entry fees, costumes, team tracksuits and travel. We have already commenced a huge fundraising effort and have many activities planned for the next few months to ensure every child can participate.

After our team last year brought home a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE… we can’t wait to see what this year holds!
