Get Ky back on her feet

Hey, I'm Lauren, but most of you probably know me as Kymara, or that lady on with all the birds.

I've had a rough two years, but this summer has been a nightmare. In early June my jardine's parrot, Jenny, that I had for 15 years, passed away in a freak accident. And then at the end of July, the owner of the bird rescue I used to be involved with lied to the person I was temporarily staying with so she could enter the property and steal all of the birds that I adopted from her organization.

My birds are my entire life. I have no reason to exist without them- they are my reason to get up in the morning. I am hopefully going to hear more about getting them back this week. It has been a soul crushing August.

The funds I am trying to raise here are to rent a moving truck to move in with a family member two hours away, where my father and the rest of my small family in this area are located. The house I will be in needs some fairly minor repairs I can do myself, which I also hope to pay for.

I just want to move into the woods and not leave until my soul has recovered from this nightmare. I went right from a terrible last semester of college that made me suicidal right into what I thought was a mutually beneficial deal with a friend that I trusted. This “friend” then refused rent and utility payment offers the countless times I offered so she could constantly tell me I was taking advantage of her while I worked my butt off for the bird rescue being run out of her home every single day, made dinner for the family and cleaned up multiple times a week, and more. Her behavior was abusive. There is no other way to put it. Then she stole my birds just to hurt me and is telling lies about me to anyone that will listen.

I'm going to throw my phone into the creek and go live with the moth man.

It's likely that the person that stole my birds is going to be reading this at some point, and also likely that people that know us both will be reading it. Hi- she's lying. About a lot of things. I have actual documented proof that I have taken to the authorities, and she is just name calling me on Facebook like a high school student. I have photos and screenshots of every single one of my claims (which were made in private), as well as thorough proof of ownership of the birds that she stole from me. Plus- a lot of things are public record. For example, how the restraining order against me does not exist, or when certain documents were filed with the state.

btw- I do indeed have a job, and I have a second one lined up when I move. I have held 2-3 jobs most of my working life. I am also a hard worker. The person that stole my birds (who also has a go fund me up...) has long been under the impression that I do not work no matter how many times she's been told what my job is or even shown some of my completed projects. I don't know what else to tell you.
