"WE WILL RISE AGAIN AND WE HAVE A PLAN! I have had more than one good cry over the tragedy of being literally wiped out but I refuse to be beaten!!! and I refuse to stop trying! SO HERE IS THE PLAN! The beach pen has been destroyed and most of the fence has vanished along with most all of the boats that were in the beach pen. With the great help of many, we have removed them and disassembled them and hope to be able to get several of them repaired, while we say goodbye forever to some. Some of our students' boats survived and we are going to set up and continue to train with our next mission focused on the Olympic Development Campaign Miami in November. We plan to finish cleaning out the MySail storage trailer this weekend and begin to set up some boats to sail. Our plan is to move the boats at night to a secure area or possibly even look at putting up some temporary fencing and ask the police for added patrols. We have the F18's that came back on the trailer from the California F18 Americas and then 3 N15's that were not on the beach during Heline's massive surge that did all the damage. Jill Nickerson is a small business owner and the Southern Chapter of the MY SAIL YOUTH FOUNDATION and owner of RED GEAR RACING. Red Gear's coaches have shaped the skills of many of the top sailors in the world by coaching kids and adults from all over the USA. When my daughter was 15, she sailed and travelled internationally through RED GEAR RACING and had experiences that shaped her life path; she even met her husband through the program! Jill Nickerson encouraged her to become one of the few Nacra 17 female skippers and she has had the opportunity to inspire young girls to sail. Her husband is one of the top international sailors.

I am just a mom, trying to raise money for a small business that I respect. I hope that you will consider donating so that Jill can get the KIDS back on the water and racing.
