UPDATE: Kenny has been released from jail, and is home safely with his family. Thank you for helping us fight for his justice

On December 19th, Kenny was arrested for a false accusation placed on him by a neighbor within his apartment complex. He was aware of a warrant that had been placed on him since November 20th and has been working extremely hard to save for a lawyer to help get the warrant removed from his name, but time was not on our side.

He was arrested hours after the birth of our son Desmond as he left the hospital, planning to return to get his belongings for work and continue to stay at the hospital to support his girlfriend and son. Unfortunately, and unknowingly, police were doing "sweeps" within the complex for individuals with arrest warrants, and Kenny was arrested as he was preparing to head back to the hospital.
