Hi all, 

I received a kidney and liver transplant ages 13! Now years later I’ve developed a love for sport.

As some of you know I was selected again this year to represent Team GB and compete in Dresden Germany in the World Transoalnt games!

unfortunately after being struck down recently with sepsis and it having a knock on affect to my transplanted liver I wasn’t sure if I would be able to compete. Things aren’t perfect but for now they’re stable. Fortunately I have been now granted permission to go ahead and step out once again representing my country.

The deadline however is fast approaching and leaves us with less than two weeks to try and reach our goal. Is it possible? I’m not sure but I’ll give it everything I’ve got!!

I’ve learnt a lot this past few months and one thing I’ve learnt is “I didn’t come this far, to only come this far”
