Get Kaylum to the 25th Scout Jamboree South Korea

Hi my name is Kaylum!

I have been selected to represent Dover District Scouts as part of the UK Contingent at the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in 2023.

The selection process involved different stages such as team work to demonstrate our ability to work in a team, team building activities, and finished with me giving a presentation to others on a new skill, and I chose to teach them sign language! This presentation was what landed me my place on the Scouts Jamboree among 2 others in the Dover District.

The Scouts Jamboree is a once in a lifetime opportunity and an experience that will influence my life forever! It is an amazing opportunity to meet Scouts from over 200 countries, and explore the cultures of the world through creating new friendships and experiencing new things.

A requirement of the Scouts Jamboree is to raise all of the money required through fundraising, so I am responsible for planning and holding various different fundraisers. So far I have done car washes, selling sweet bags at local events, and a "hamper lottery".

The money raised will help fund this amazing experience and pave the way for an adventure of a lifetime. Any donations will be gratefully received.
