On Tuesday, September 8th, Kayla and Phil's storage unit was burglarized. All of their gear was stolen, including Phil's snowboard, Kayla's split board and bindings that she just got last season and barely used, camping gear, tents, avy gear, among other items. It's a long shot that they will be able to retrieve these items, and as you know, insurance never covers much. 

Kayla and Phil both love the outdoors and now most of their gear will need to be replaced. Although these are just material things, these are things that get them outside and help build memories and experiences with their friends and family. Kayla and Phil have been nothing but amazing friends and I know that if this were to happen to us, they would be supportive and do the same to help us get back outdoors. 

The funds raised will go towards replacing the gear that was stolen. Kayla and Phil are also moving next month, so this will help in replacing their gear, so they can focus their own funds (and energy) on moving expenses, etc. As we know, it's almost ski season, and it would be great to replace their gear so they can get back on the mountain slopes. 

Please help me in getting Kayla and Phil geared up! Every bit counts, big or small. You have no idea how grateful they would be for this support. Let's show them that we are here for them. LET'S DO THIS!
