First, we would like to thank everyone so much for donating. You can read the original story below. Unfortunately, as many of you know, our dear Katie has passed away. Thankfully, she had support and love being sent to her from all over the world, and we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain.

Unfortunately, her family still has to pay out of pocket for the medical expenses. This is a big chunk of change (about $35,000), so we will continue to encourage donations small or large to help them out.  This is obviously a very difficult time for Katie’s loved ones, so if we can at least help alleviate some of the financial burden, that would be wonderful.

Hey guys.. so a bit of bad news..  On Saturday morning our beautiful  friend Katie Campbell was taken to the hospital in Bali. She had a severe headache for 3 days, vomiting, and a stiff neck. Her friends Stacy and Kat got her in, had her get a CT scan and the care she needed.

As it turns out, her brain scans later revealed subarachnid hemorrhaging as a result of a brain anuerism. Unfortunately her medical insurance won't be covering the procedures she needs to have.

As of now, Katie is conscious, but in a tremendous amount of pain. She is facing an upcoming brain surgery to stop the bleeding on Friday, December 9th. Her mom flew in from SFO on Monday and is with her.

I know all of us love her so much and want to help in anyway we can from around the world.. and right now we can at least help her and her family in this way. Help us raise some funds so that they don't have to at least worry about that! 

The situation is super urgent and we'd love to get them all the help we can ASAP!
